Milwaukee K1 praire project on  hold due to builders age and heart condition.  Sales listing includes many original Milwaukee erecting and other part drawings,  side and end elevations. Also many original NP Class T Praire drawings.  Both locomotives were built by Alco, and are almost identical, so many of the drawings for NP Praires also work for Milwaukee Praire engines.  Also builders scaled drawings in pencil.  Project includes extra parts and little engines drawings, etc.  Lifting stand is not part of sale, shown only to display running gear.  Offering local pickup.  Might be able to deliver approximately 240 mile radius for a fee.

The first prototype photo is at Milwaukee on August 17. 1935.

The second prototype photo is at Minneapolis on October 16, 1927.

The last picture is the prototype I was Modelling it after.    Photo taken at Harlowton, July 12, 1931, under the catenary.

Questions about this item

Question:
Answer:
Hi Andrew, No Cylinder castings or rods. Have many drawings including original Milwaukee Engineering drawings to be included. The Northern Pacific class T praire was almost identical in terms of basic dimensions, (even if not in outward appearance), and I have quite a number of T-Class engineering drawings that are included. I have additional wheel castings, and foundry patterns for grates and some other stuff, included. Where are you from? Regards, BL
