Cast aluminum coupler pair (sold as a pair, will not split).  
Works best when coupled to a functional coupler.
It's set up to use with a springs (included) or rubber hose or chunk of solid rubber as a shock absorber.  
Fits standard coupler pockets.  Some light sanding my be required.
