Description

This package teaches the tricks to turn an "O" scale train car into a 1.5 or 1.6 scale 7-1/2 or 7-1/4 gauge train car.
Included is the caboose example with drawings and measurements.

The “body” drawings provided don’t show each panel and dimensions broken out. If you've built models before you know how to take prototype photos plus the necessary dimensions to build a really great model. The frame is rather simple and drawn mostly without dimensions.  You can use this basic design for most caboose models. Just plug in your body dimensions to fit your project.

Metal working tools are required including a welder.
Wood working tools include a table saw.

Sold as a download PDF file.

Questions about this item

Question:
Answer:
No one that I know of is producing this siding. You, the builder of the caboose, can create the siding using simple techniques from the notes contained in the download using standard wood working tools like a table saw.
