Question:
Can you make some in 1.6" scale for an ALCO S2 or S4 locomotive? I recently bought a set of blueprints but haven't looked at them yet so I don't know if the handrail stanchions are on the blue prints or not. I have them listed in an ALCO parts book also but no illustrations are shown of them in it.
Answer:
Jet thrust, i looked up the alco s2 and s4 on the internet and found several pictures. the handrails are relatively long, rectangular bar stock with a hole for the rail. the bottom of the handrail is attached to the side frame of the locomotive with a short piece of very heavy angle iron and several stout bolts. i could make them but i am specializing in the classis round shaft ball end turned stanchions. if you can find a dimensioned print we can discuss it. chuck morton 864-420-4287 thank you for the inquiry (do you fly rc jets)

Question:
I’m interested in some stations for my 2.5 scale C-16. The boiler has four 2” stations with a 3/8” diameter hole for the railing. The smoke box has two 1.5” posts with a 5/16 diameter hole for the railing. Do you also have the ball ends for the railing? I would need two 3/8” and two 5/16” ball ends. Thanks.
