This 7.5" gauge 1.5" scale Central Pacific #173 American  4-4-0 locomotive was built from a kit offered by Railroad Supply Corporation in1993. The boiler was professionally built and tested. The engine is fired by propane and was last run in 1995. The engine is clean and like new, since it was only run under compressed air while hanging over a display trolley.

Included with the steam locomotive is a display trolley, water tender, set of CP-173 prints, lift cart, and a variety of spare tubing, fittings, and misc. hardware.
This classic engine is located in the Los Angeles Ca. area. Cash offers accepted only. Buyer to arrange and pay for packing and shipping.

Questions about this item

Question:
Answer:
I am not a business, so I don’t know the cost to ship. I need someone who can show up with a truck to take the stuff to a carrier or drive it home themselves. If you come to LA, I will reduce the price of the engine $300 if you purchase the engine to cover the cost of the flight.

Question:
Answer:
The engine is 13”W X 51.5”L X 23””H to top of stack. (18” to top of cab). The engine weighs 260 lbs wet. I don’t know it’s weight without water in the boiler. The tender is 16”W X 34”L X 16”H and weighs 140lb wet. It probably weighs 60 lbs without water. It don’t want to provide shipping estimates, I am not a business. The cost will be the same whether the engine is purchased alone or with all the other items.
