I started the Allen Models Fitchburg Northern project about four years ago and have not touched it since. Looking to downsize all my projects. I have done all the machine work myself.

- Main frames are waterjet then critical surfaces machined.
- I CNC cut all the radii of the spring/equalizer and brake linkages.  
- I machined the journals from solids bronze rather than castings, pressed in oilite bearings and then re-machined for a precision fit.
- The steam chests are machined from solid cast iron as the original castings were not up to my standard.
- The tires on the wheels were turned between centers after pressed onto the axles for maximum concentricity accuracy.
- Wheels are complete with journals and eccentrics (presently covered in tape). I just haven’t had a time to put a second coat of paint on them.
- There is no twist to the frame. When you place parallels underneath the frame at the journal openings you cannot rock it at all.
- Set of prints included.

Asking $3,000 plus shipping. Once I know your address I can calculate cost. Will only charge what UPS wants to charge me and no more.
