This listing is for a rare Southern Railway steam locomotive wall plaque made by John C. Magnotti in Staten Island, New York. Magnotti made just over 300 model plaques of this type and this particular one is labeled No. 244. This model plaque includes an audio track (a conductor shouts "All aboard!" followed by train noises) and lights, which are operated by flipping one of two switches, and a bell which is operated manually. The condition of this piece is good, though there are a few damaged plastic parts on each side of the locomotive (see pictures) and the audio track appears to only work intermittently. In addition, the lights currently do not work, which may be a wiring issue (same goes for the audio component) and could possibly be resolved by someone with the right know-how. The plaque is 19 1/8" tall, 13" wide, and about 7" deep. The plaque takes 4 C batteries and one 9-volt battery.
