Antique steam engine made by Loomis Machine Co. Tiffin, Ohio. Used on the "Clipper" water well drilling rig. Info found online. Runs good on air. Connecting rod to crosshead needs adjusting, has lots of play. The rest of engine is very sloppy as well.  Needs adjusting and reworking in most moving parts. Must have been well worked back in its day. Old repair on steam chest and also has small crack off one chest cover bolt hole. Look close at pics to see.  Reverse engine, shifts good.  65" tall, 32" wide, 19" flywheel.  Approximately 4-1/2" - 5" bore,7-8" stroke. Has 1-1/4" Gardner Gov., Ball Ranger style.
